Kitching taken to hospital
Gresley Rovers leading goal scorer Neil Kitching was carried off during the second half of the Cinderford game.
Manager Jon Newsome said after the game:" Neil Kitching's knee was quite swollen so he's gone off to the A&E to find out if they can do anything. Our physio has some ideas as to what the problem could be but we are waiting for confirmation. Kitch said he just looked down and saw that his knee was badly swollen and he really doesn't know what he's done to it or how he did it. Hopefully it's not serious, maybe he's just knicked his cartilage a little bit; we'll just have to wait and see."

Kitching is having his best spell at the Moat Ground since breaking his leg in the game against Tiverton Town in February 2000.

The striker scored his sixth league goal in today's (Saturday) game against Cinderford Town.

Newsome and the club are now awaiting the results from the doctors at Burton's Queens Hospital.
