Rovers swoop for Paget ace
Story courtesy of Burton Mail
Gresley Rovers boss Frank Northwood has mad a trip into the transfer market in a bid to boost his team’s championship challenge.
Northwood has snapped up Paget midfielder Gary Edmonds and puts him straight into the squad for tomorrow’s vital trip to fellow promotion chasers Hinckley Town (3pm).

Rovers desperately need to get something out of tomorrow’s game to dent Hinckley’s challenge and to keep Rocester off the top of the Banks’s Brewery League Premier Division table.

The Gresley manager will hope that a new face will help spur his side on to victory. Certainly Edmonds is no stranger to Northwood’s style of management. The player was on the books of Wolverhampton United when the veteran boss was at the helm of the West Midlands side.
