Rovers striker worry

Gresley Rovers striker Paul Acklam will have a last minute fitness test before tonight’s Evans Halshaw Cup clash with Matlock Town at the Moat Ground (7.30pm).
Acklam missed Saturday’s victory over Stapenhill with a groin injury and is still doubtful for tonight’s game.

Dean Page however may return to the team for his first full appearance since suffering a serious ankle injury.

Gresley will be looking for a win against their HFS Loans League rivals in order to move to the top of the four strong Western Group.

The clash with the Gladiators could well turn out to be a dress rehearsal for the Derbyshire Senior Cup final which Gresley are looking to win for the third consecutive year.
