Rovers get exemption in FA Vase
Story courtesy of Burton Mail
Two successful campaigns have earned Gresley Rovers an exemption to the second round proper of the FA Vase. But Rovers have failed in their bid to join Albion on the FA Youth Cup trail because their junior squad has not been in league membership in the last 12 months.
Gresley, also accepted for the FA Cup, are joined in the Vase by Stapenhill and Rocester, both of whom will start at the preliminary stage.

Rocester, however, have failed for the second successive season to gain admission to the FA Cup.
