A Club Statement
In response to the speculation on the fans forum regarding John McGinlay and his position at Gresley Rovers Football Club the club would like to issue the following statement:
"John McGinlay is manager of Gresley Rovers Football Club and is to remain manager.

"John is currently making preparations for next season whilst also looking to complete this season in as high a league position as possible and hopefully winning the Derbyshire Senior Cup.

"When we recruited John we secured a significantly experienced player and coach. I believe we have a manager who will help Gresley Rovers create its future and fulfil our great potential.

"He is an exponent of the club approach and has worked extremely hard since joining us and we have already seen significant progress this season.

"While it is flattering to have John mentioned in relation to vacant positions at other football clubs, it is obviously of concern to the supporters of Gresley Rovers.

"It is for this purpose that we (John and I) have chosen to release this statement to reassure them.

"Thanks for your support."
