Prims Pre-Match News
The start of another busy week of preseason see’s Gresley travel the short distance tonight to take on Graham St Prims at the Asterdale Sports Ground (KO 7.30pm) with manager Gary Norton aiming to give further opportunity to some of the club's younger talent as he did on Saturday.
Retaining their places in the squad from Saturday’s 3-0 defeat to Matlock are u18 players Brad Payne and Mitch White together with Reserve youngster Harry Lansdowne who impressed for 90 mins against Matlock on the left hand side. They will be joined by Reserve team players Byron Musgrove, James Hemmingway and Callum Jenkins.

Jake McIntosh, Dom Allen and Alex Steadman all return to the squad after missing Saturdays match but Lucas Harrison, Zaki Evans and Dexter Morris-Clarke are given the night off (rested) and Ryan King is injured (knee).

Kane Jellyman, Matt Roome, Kieran O’Connell and Carl Slater are still away on holiday whilst Mark Branch and Martin Smyth miss out through work commitments.

Burton Albion goalkeeper Jack Liversey who impressed on Saturday will not be involved tonight with the two clubs discussing a possible arrangement that will allow the first year professional to spend some time at the Moat Ground going forwards.

On a positive note forward Kane Lee is involved in the squad for the first time in pre-season. Lee has be struggling with a foot injury picked up in the Reserve league cup final at the end of last season.
