Gresley manager Wayne Thornhill will be hoping that his side can put away some of the chances they create starting with the visit to Butlin Road tonight (7.45pm).
The Moatmen were beaten by Basford in their opening league game with the visitors scoring with their only strike on target.Gresley on the other hand made numerous chances which they failed to convert after dominating large parts of the game.
However, Thornhill will be well aware that their opponents tonight Rugby Town will also have a point to prove after being thrashed at Loughborough on Saturday.
Town were moved into the Northern Premier League from the Southern League during the summer and were themselves hoping to get off the mark quickly to establish the club in the new league.
Gresley will need to take their chances if they are to come away from the Warwickshire based club with anything to show for all their efforts.
Both Alex Steadman and Matt Roome return to the squad after missing Saturday's game.
