McGinlay hoping for more of the same
John McGinlay is hoping for another good all-round performance as his side face a tough challenge tomorrow at Atherstone United (3pm).
After their superb 4-1 win at Bedworth on Tuesday in the FA Umbro Trophy Gresley get back to the bread and butter games of the Western Division League.

Atherstone themselves have had a good run of late and McGinlay knows his team will have a game on their hands. He said: "Atherstone have a great home record, especially scoring goals, and have put on some good displays against good sides. I think it will be a cracking game but after our midweek performance, which was magnificent, we fear no-one."

McGinlay will probably field an unchanged side that won so convincingly at Bedworth.

Alex Green
Alex has joined Ashton United on loan for an indefinite period to help try and recover from injury and regain his match fitness. Gresley has reserved the right to recall the player at a moments notice should it prove necessary.

Ashton had put in seven days notice for Green and he was undecided whether to join the Northern Premier Division One side because he wanted to play first team football.
However, with this arrangement Green and both clubs benefit.

Stuart Evans
Stuart failed fitness test midweek and is certain to miss tomorrow's game.

Steve Hutchinson
Steve who joined Gresley in October has left to join Dr Martens League Premier Division Kettering Town. He only played in 4 games and scored 2 goals his last being in the 1-1 draw at Bilston Town in the FA Trophy in November. For the last few weeks, Steve has been unavailable due to work commitments.
