Gresley travel to Stamford based Blackstones of the UCL Premier League for a FA Cup Preliminary Round - 3pm.
Manager Gary Norton admits it's a bit of a journey into the unknown for his side. "We've not been able to have them watched," said Norton, "so I'll be ringing up some of the managers of teams who have recently played them."Norton will need to reshuffle his squad as Marc Goodfellow, Mickey Lyons and skipper Gary Hateley are all missing.
Hateley was due to play but has had to travel to the Far East on an emergency work trip which will see him missing for a few weeks. However, this will give the chance to Tom Gutteridge to make a claim for the number one shirt.
Norton said: "Tom is someone I have the greatest respect for and pushes Hateley all the way. Hateley has had the nod recently due to his form during pre-season. Tom ha now got two or three games to get back in the side. I'm pleased he's got his opportunity after the patience he's shown."
Should Gresley draw at Blackstones, the replay will be on Tuesday evening at the Moat Ground meaning the Bank Holiday clash at home to Mickelover Sports having to be postponed.
