Kenning looks to the new season
Brian Kenning

Brian Kenning

Gresley Rovers' manager Brian kenning has been told about the budget for the next playing season. He is though, in the process of contacting Steve Spooner to discuss his future.
Spooner announced at the end of last season that he was retiring from playing and wanted to persue openings in coaching/management. All other players have informed Kenning that they want to stay with the club while he has spoken to at least five potential new recruits.

Another of Kennings aims is to improve the Reserve and Youth Team set ups. Gary Norton has been offered the job of player/coach with the reserves to work alongside Alan Titterton.

The Moatmen are also hoping to attract another physio to be on duty when the reserve and youth teams are in action.

Burton Albion have contacted Gresley with a view to playing a pre-season friendly. This has been arranged for Monday August 7th at the Moatground.
