Gedling Town Pre-Match News
Brian Woodall is a doubt for Saturday's game against Gedling Town at the Moat Ground after suffering an ankle injury against Dawlish Town in the FA Vase.
He has had an x-ray which was clear in terms of factures or breaks, but he will most likely miss out tomorrow, and is a doubt for next Tuesday’s big game against title rivals Heanor Town.

Jordi Gough is definitely out after injuring his ankle at work.

Strikers Matt Weightman, who missed the Ibstock game with a stomach bug and Royce Turville, who came off on Tuesday with a hamstring strain, should be in contention.

Manager Gary Norton is hoping to draft Paul Edwards in if Gareth Langford fails to recover from a knee injury.

Jack Coulson is also a doubt after coming off with a dead leg on Tuesday, as is Matt Hill (knee), but Rhys Powell is back available and would be a like-for-like replacement.

Adam Betteridge could replace brother Tom, who will be out for a couple of weeks with a foot injury.

Gresley have signed central defender Tom Land on first team forms as potential cover in case Langford and Coulson are ruled out of tomorrow’s game.

Land – son of former Moat Ground legend Gill - joined the club at his own request in December from Borrowash Victoria and initially signed for the club's Reserve side.

However after picking up a couple of injuries in that department recently Gary Norton has opted to register the young central defender on first team forms in addition to naming Edwards in the squad.

Gresley from: Hateley, Baldwin, Hill, Butler, Powell, Coulson, Barrett, Langford, Slater, Lyons, Gadsby, A Betteridge, Turville, Spencer, Marshall, Edwards, Land.

The match sponsor is Greenbank Group UK and Gresley FC would like to thank them for their generous sponsorship.
