Bilston pre-match news
The injuries are beginning to bite deep at the Moat Ground.

It means that John McGinlay has to shuffle his team for tomorrow's visit of Bilston Town.
Gresley are particulaly short of cover in defence with Barry Woolley the latest casualty. Barry damaged an ankle in the first few minutes of the Derbyshire Senior Cup game against Shirebrook on Wednesday. He tried to run it off but had to be substituted a few minutes later.

Stuart Evans is rated at less that 50/50 due to his injured ankle and it looks as if Lee Westwood and Alex Green will definitely be missing due to injuries.

Westwood also limped out of the Derbyshire Senior Cup game and Green is still struggling after picking up a calf knock during the game against Ilkeston Town in the Dr Martens Cup a week ago.

Carl Middleton, who returned to the Moat Ground after his loan spell at Congleton could be on the bench.

McGinlay had been hoping to sign on loan a young defender from the Premiership but its looking very doubtful tonight.

Gary Norton

Speculation has been rife with regards to the vacant manager's position at near neighbours Stapenhill, with Rovers reserve team boss Gary Norton being one name in the frame.

Norton did, however, play for Stapenhill in midweek as a stop gap measure to help the club out. The club has Phil Lonergan as caretaker manager after Steve Coburn's departure.

"Phil is a best mate and Stapenhill are a special club to me so I agreed to help out. I have already helped them this season with players like Ravi Sangha, Paul Grant and others who went from Gresley.

"I'm well happy at Rovers at the moment and wouldn't consider leaving for anything," said the reserve team boss.
