Tom Groves Injury Update
The full extent of the injury to midfielder Tom Groves has been revealed after he this week underwent a scan on his injured knee.
Groves injured his knee whilst out on a training run and the scan revealed he has a complete rupture of his Anterior Cruciate Ligament, a micro fracture of his femur bone as well as cartilage damage in the knee.

Tom is due to see a specialist to discuss his options but the unfortunate news is expected to rule him out for the remainder of the season.

Manager Gary Norton said "This is a huge blow to Tom and our thoughts are obviously with him. He is due to see a specialist to go through what options are available to him and whether he needs it operating on or not. Either way, we are not expecting him to be available again this season but we will wait and see what the specialist says.
