Having taken into account the numerous and varied views of the clubs and after many hours of detailed debate at their meeting on 24th May, the League Management Committee agreed on the following recommendation to be presented to member clubs at the special meeting to be held on 30th May.

"That two Divisions of 18 clubs - North and South - be established for season 2007-08".

In reaching this recommendation the League Management Committee have taken the contents of a letter dated 18th May from Mike Appleby, FA Leagues Manager, in good faith and consider this step to be in the best interests generally of non-league football.
