Stocksbridge pre-match news

Goalkeeper Tommy Whittle is expected to start after recovering from a tight groin and defender Matt Millns looks set to return after missing the abandoned Derbyshire Senior Cup game because of an ankle injury.
Defender Dan Douglas is fit and will make his first start after suffering an ankle injury picked up against Chorley at the beginning of the month.

Midfielder Micky Lyons, who is still a registered Gresley player, has made a surprise offer of his services over the festive period which manager Gary Norton may take up.

Said Norton: "Micky is back over Christmas and is available for three of our four holiday games. The only one he can't make is Wakefield away (a week tomorrow). We will do a bit of a body count and let him know if he is needed this weekend.

"He has been keeping himself fairly fit, played for the England Futsal squad in the week and has been playing in London."

Definitely missing are defender Gary White (hamstring), striker Aaron O'Connor (suspended) and Andy Simpson (knee).

Gresley from: Whittle, Douglas, Carter, Woolley, Hoyle, Slater, Groves, Ridgway, Edwards, Hebberd, Smith, Millns, Lyons, Hemmings, Gadsby.
