Jamie Hood

Jamie Hood

Manager Gary Norton has yet to decide whether to risk his central defender Jamie Hood for tonight's first leg of the Derbyshire Senior Cup Final at the Moat Ground.
Hood, who is suffering from a knee injury, has declared himself fit and ready to play but with two big league games coming up Norton may not risk him.

"If we make any changes it will be with Saturday in mind," said Norton. "On his day Hoody is one of the best defenders in the league and is such a big asset to the club. I'm sure that if you ask any supporter they would rather have three points on Saturday than the cup. I want both and I will not make changes for the sake of it."

Andy Marlowe may be rested and Mickey Lyons is cup-tied so Ashley Dodd gets his chance in the squad.

Gresley from: Belford, Hudson, Smith, Hood, Farmer, Marlowe, Gray, Barrett, Edwards, O'Connor, G White, Dodd, C White, Tate.
