Kidsgrove pre-match news
Manager Gary Norton has named the same 14 for the game against Kidsgrove Athletic tomorrow.
Defender Jamie Hood is fit to play despite a knee injury. Andy Marlowe could feature in the starting 11 as Norton tries to field as solid a line-up as possible. "Kidsgrove are flying at the moment and are unbeaten in March," said Norton. "They have an outside chance of gaining a play-off berth so it's an important game for both sides.

"We beat them quite easily at the Moat Ground back in November, but that's irrelevant because we are struggling with our away form. Our home form is one of the best in the league and we approach away games in the same way so I don't know why our last six or seven games on the road have been so poor, though we've only been beaten by the odd goal.

Norton has missed out on bringing in a replacement defender for Niall Hudson who will miss two games due to a pre-arranged visit to the United States. He had hoped to bring in a right back from Nuneaton Borough but a late change of mind has halted the move.

"The player concerned was willing to come but his club then told us they had injury worries and it died a death," said Norton. "However, John Branch is available for the next few weeks from university. He is playing a few games for Chasetown and will train with us in between."
