Notts County agree to extend loan
Chairman Mark Evans has agreed with Notts County to extend the loan period of Shaun Harrad.
Harrad has scored three goals in the four games he's played for Gresley and the chairman is delighted that the deal could be extended.

Evans said: "Notts County and I discussed how Shaun had been doing at the Moat Ground and they are more than happy for him to remain at Gresley for the forseeable future.

"They are keen for him to gain experience, and while they have a right to recall him should it prove necessary they have said that they will not do that lightly.

"The links between our two clubs are strong and have secured in the past the services of goalkeepers James Lindley and Saul Deeney along with midfielder Ryan Ford either on a permanent deal or on loan.

"Those links have been further strengthened with the Magpies' Centre of Excellence director Gary Brazil agreeing to undertake some coaching sessions at Gresley with the juniors and possibly the reserves.

"There is also a possibility that some Gresley players, whose futures may lie in the Football League, could get the chance to spend some time at Meadow Lane."
