Matt Smith has signed for Gresley Rovers from Dr Martens Western rivals Solihull Borough.
Matt began his football career at Derby County before moving to Plymouth Argyle.

A spell with Cork City gave Matt the opportunity to play in the UEFA Cup.

The 6'2" centre half has also played for Burton Albion (1994) and Moor Green before joining Solihull in the summer of 2001.
