Mangotsfield pre-match news
This will be Gresley Rovers first home game since the beginning of the month and manager Jon Newsome is hoping for a performance like last Saturday’s at Cirencester when they won 3-1.
“We dug in and the lads did really well last week,” he said. “And I will be looking for more of the same tomorrow. It will be nice to be at home at last as it been quite a while and, hopefully the lads will be up for it.”

“Mangotsfield gave us a right stuffing at their place and it’s time to set the record straight. We owe them one.

“They are the leading scorers in the league and are fourth at present in our league and they have two very good strikers in former Bristol City player David Seal and Darren Edwards.

“This will be a big game for us and there will be quite a few of our players looking for revenge after they smashed us out of sight, but anyone who follows Gresley Rovers, knows that performances can go up and down like a yo-yo.”

Craig Hopkins will be back tomorrow after missing the last match due to work commitments and defender Andy Cheetham has recovered from a dead leg and is also in the squad.

Newsome is suspended after being red carded at Taunton two weeks ago.
