Taunton pre-match news
Gresley embark on their longest trip of the league season when they travel to Taunton tomorrow (Saturday). They will be going hoping for revenge after Taunton had taken all three points on their visit to the Moat just a month ago.
Manager Jon Newsome said: “We have a score to settle as they had a good result against us in a game we should have gone on and won. It’s a long way to go and we don’t want to make the long trip home without a result.

“I’ll be looking for the same attitude they showed on Tuesday. We had to put out a weakened side but their performance was exceptional and we should have got more than just one point.”

Newsome will have to reshuffle his squad as more injuries hit his team. Missing will be Neil Kitching, who has a reoccurrence of a thigh injury, Ian Bluck (knee) and Andy Cheetham (dead leg).

Returning, however, are striker Steve Rutter and Andy Bourne, missing on Tuesday through work commitments along with Mark Peters who has recovered from illness.

Craig Hopkins is likely to take a place on the bench after recovering from a rib injury.

Jamie Barrett plays his last game before serving a one match ban for picking up five yellows card.

Rovers from: Lindley, Moran, White, Wardle, Evans, Barrett, Slater, Gray, Timms, Bourne, Rutter, Peters, Hopkins, Alexander, Newsome, Parkinson, Shiels (gk).
