Rovers will meet again

Gresley Rovers are to hold further talks before reacting officially to their failure to gain promotion to the Beazer Homes League.
The club’s committee met last night to discuss the 12-point rejection and chairman Peter Hall said today: “It was a very good meeting, but we will be holding further discussions and until then the club will not be making any statement.”

The club claim they were denied promotion to the Beazer Midlands Division because of ‘minor’ faults.
