Booze ban on fans
Story courtesy of Burton Mail
Gresley Rovers have banned the sale of alcohol to the general public at Saturday’s FA Vase semi-final first leg against Littlehampton.
At the request of the FA, Rovers have decided to apply the Safety at Sports Ground Act to the fixture which means only guests of the club will be allowed to consume alcohol.

The ban will apply before, during and after the match and Rovers secretary Peter Jenkinson confirmed: “There will be no bar facilities available to the general public at the FA’s request.”

The remainder of tickets for the return leg at Littlehampton on Saturday, March 30th go on sale tonight from 7.30pm.

Rovers have been allocated 400 tickets for the match and have 200 left at £2.50 each.
